HappY tEachers' DaY & MerdeKa

So today's the eve of teachers' day & today is also Malaysia's National Day. I guess it's a call for celebrations. Like real.

Suppose to attend the teachers' day dinner today but couldn't make it due to class. So rite now they are doing the ACES exercise at the parade square. Reminds me of my school days back then.We were the ferst few batches to start doing this ACES. I can't recall what it stands for actually.Funny how this things are still going on in schools these days. But it different now in terms of the school h0urs. Last time our lesson/period last only 1/2hr.The most is 40mins. But now the lesson/period is one hour. Imagine! No wonder students can't keep still or at least concentrate in class. Their concentration span is very limited, more than that they will feel tired already. Anyway today is not a 1/2 day. They gonna study for 5 periods before they have the concert before they go home.

On Saturday, Rudy & I went to the new National Library some how located between Bugis & Beach Road.Damn Big I can say. But so wasted that the reading books is only at Basement 1. The rest of the levels are not occupied. We intend to go study there next time.Anyway we had our dinner at Long John Silvers. Then we headed home early that night coz we had a test the following morning. Test was tough but we managed to pull thru. Lucky! If not we have to retake the elective module or another one & waste our Sundays again. I managed to complete the circuit connection in 15 minutes. First time I finish a circuit so fast. He He.

On Monday, Rudy wasn't werking in the day as he had to werk nite to cover duties. So he was sleeping the whole morning while I was at werk. He picked me up after werk that day,sent the car home as I was driving that morning & then off to school.After school he went to werk & I had to go home myself. So he got his off day again yesterday. He met me at Eastpoint before school & had our dinner @ Banquet. While walking to school, saw some of the students who actually asked me for lighter. I mean like -dUh- & here Rudy was pissed off. He was like angry with the kids for being lazy, don't want to study, what they want to be when they get out of school & stuffs like that. I was too tired to reply so I kept quiet all the way. I know he felt sort of jelous but I can't possibly stop them from talking to me rite? So after awhile he kewled down & things were normal again. He sent me home after class yesterday. Yipeee!

Ok now the morning just started & can't write more. Anyway I got a class coming in so I got to ciow for now.

Here I Am Once Again

The last time I updated this bloggie it was cloudy. Rite now, the Sun is shining up so brightly & glaring. But u see I'm on the inside. I don't get baked in the Sun. The room is soo cold that my eyes are drying up & they hurt. I think I'm gonna have to use spex again coz I'm staring at the PC monitor everyday.

I think I have insomia. I just can't sleep at nite.Ok not exactly. I will sleep ard 11+pm and then I will get up again at 2+, 3+ and contineously till my alarm on my fone beeps at 0545hrs. I get very tired every morning. I think I need help. Ha Ha. No but I seriously do. Coz if I don't sleep I feel tired & if I feel tired I get very frustated easily & I won't be able to concentrate in school.

The other day I was having an email "conversation" with Sarina. In case u don't know what it is, well it's just that we were toking & catching up thru emails. Funny actually. She's actually a long-time fren. We were like in the same class in primary school, yup from P1-P6. On the day of the school posting she asked me which secondary school I went to. When I told her, she also said she got in the same school.So the ferst day of Sec 1, we checked our names on the notice board to see which class we got in & suprisingly we ended up in the same class & stick thru thruout the 4 years of secondary school. We did lost touch for a moment but we somehow got each others' number thru the "Hari Raya" cards that we posted to one another every year. Now that's what we call long-lasting frenship. Imagine 15 years already & still counting.

Anyway during the "conversations" I suddenly came up with an idea of lepaking. U know just the normal stuffs frens wud do. She was telling me that Ian,her bf, has alternate off days like say this week Sat & next week wud be Sunday and so on. So I suggested that we go beach or wild2 wet or something like that.She agreed. The date is set there & then. 4th Sept. Since Rudy & I won't have Sunday class that week too. It's really time to meet up with them. I mean the last time I saw them was at an ex-classmate engagement. So we both sms-ed the rest of the "gang" & now will have to wait for their reply. Can't wait till next week.

So now I'm feeling tired & sleepy again. But I can't sleep. I've got work to clear by 1300hrs. Timecheck : 1105hrs. I really envy Rudy who currently at home snoring away after his last nite servicing at werk.

The Sky is gloomy

Rite now the sky looks dark, gloomy kind of suit my mood man coz Im feeling tired too. Guess like Rudy always say "My body is taking its toll on me already". I jolly well agree. We are both forcing ourselves to werk & study at the same time. Frens tell us to try to go on dates to keep the romance burning but honestly we can't. Imagine having to work from Mondays - Fridays for me & Sats for him too and at the same time going to skool on Sundays - Fridays for both of us. Glad that the Sunday morning class is ending for us this week. Which means that we can go out on Saturday nites, sleep late & still go to skool in the noon. Just a tot like this makes me HAPPY.

I'm soo loking forward to go home today at 1630hrs sharp to regain all the lack of sleep that I missed during the past 2 months. Tonite no class. Another HAPPY tot. Well just in case u are wondering why 1630? Coz my working hours are like 0730 - 1630hrs. See that's another reason why I lack of sleep. I have to get up by 0600 every morning,leave home by 0640hrs in order to reach werk by 0730hrs. I don't watch TVs anymore. I don't have time for movies too. And frankly speaking I can't be spending that much coz I gotta save to pay my skool fees. Damn! But I don't regret coz I feel that all this will come to a better end for me as I will in turn hopefully have a better job when I get my cert next year. I mite continue my education if I get a job that is of coz related to my studies. But in the mean time I shall just make do with it.

Ok I better go now coz got werk to do. WIll update as and when I got the time. (I wish)

~ 19 AUG 1983 ~

Yesterday marked the 22nd year of my life. Yup my birthday. A year older. I guess after all these years as u get older, the celebrations get lesser. The pic on is a Creative Zen NeeOn given to me by Dad, Sis & Bro-In-Law. It's a new one by Creative & the best part is it's 2 colours. U mite read on my previos entry about it. Mum & Granny gave ang-pows.

My fon started beeping at 0000hrs exactly. Ferst was of coz Rudy, followed by cousins & frens who remembered. Then Mum & Dad wished me early morn when I got up. In fact the whole day my fon was ringing & beeping non-stop. Kinda touched actually. Imagine frens whom I seldom meet all remembered. Even aunties & grandaunties too. Anyone wanna guess what's the most common line of the day?...it's "Cepat2 dapat jodoh." I mean yah I know I'm getting older but marriage have never come across my mind. Yes true I'm seeing someone now but we both aren't mentally,physically & financially prepared coz we are both juggling between werk & studies. So marriage is currently out of the question.

Anyway at werk, dear collegues wished me too.Suprised that they remembered actually.So after werk,met Rudy @ Tampines & he treated me to Pizza Hut. He suggested to walk around to find my pressie but we were rushing for time as we had class. Before that on Tuesday we had a pre-celebration @ Swensen's so guess I don't mind him not getting me anything anyway coz he also had gotten me a DG cam just last month. He's been spending too much on me lah recently. But he still insisted that he gets me something.Guess we gonna do it tomorrow coz tonite we're going out with Ellie & her hubby to celebrate mine & her hubby's birthday which is tomorrow. We going karoake @ Spans tonite.A double-celebration kind of thingy. So here I am while waiting for Rudy to come over before we leave.

MonDay MorninG

Boring. SleepY. Tired.

That's how I'm feeling rite now.Guess it's the Monday Blues. Hope to get over it fast man. Still got a long way to go before the week ends again.

Thursday was normal.Very slow day.My family got home on Friday. I didn't get to see them till Saturday morning. I was home the whole of Saturday. Guess it's just one of the lazy days.Wanted to go out with Mum but she was also lazy. Wanted to meet Rudy but he wanted to stay home & watch soccer. Lucky I didn't got out also coz there was a Man Utd match that nite. The best part of it all was THEY WON!! against Everton on away ground. HappY siahh.

SundaY: suppose to get up to attend class but was still toooo lazy so I got up later than usual. Drove Mum to Tanjong Katong as she wanted to get some tudungs.Got home & continued sleeping again till evening when Rudy called asking if I wanted to go watch Battle of The Bands @ Hougang Mall. The laziness was still in me so I turned him down. Ha Ha. Bad Gerrrl rite? Haiiyahh wat to do..? Then later @ nite went out with family as my Sister(Ellie)wanted to find a rack for her room.Went to the newly-opened V-hive @ Tampines but couldn't find any. Then headed to Challenger & while walking around Ellie suggested tat they all share & buy me an I-pod. Looked around but wasn't really interested in I-pod coz they don't come with radio. So my bro-in-law suggested Creative. Saw the new Creative Zen Neoon. KEWL & cheaper for a 5GB Mp3 with radio compared to I-pod. So they bought that for me in red. Yup in Red! Coz this new model of Mp3 comes with different colours:Blue,Green,Yellow,Orange & Red.YipEE! Guess it's an advance ******t for me. Went for dinner & after that home.

This morning I drove to werk so I dropped Mum at werk before that. Arrived earlier than expected.Let's see how the week goes by.

Ok I know I've not been blogging since last Wednesday. Let me try to remember what happened last few days.

Rudy booked out on Thursday nite @ 2359hrs so we didn't meet. The next day, Friday, he picked me up from werk & headed to Parkway to make his spex & get his contacts lens. Quite cheap I rather say. S$198 for a pair of spex with transitions lens & 8 pairs of monthly contacts including the cleaning solution. Then we had dinner & Banquet before we took a bus to skool.

The next day we went to town to catch a movie. I wanted to watch Charlie & the Chocolate Factory but he insisted on watching Stealth. Ok lah give in lah since it was on him. He he. On Sunday as usual went to skool. He played soccer in the evening so I went out with Mum & Dad to get a new set-up box for my room.YipppE!

Monday was National Day's celebration in skool. Since it was a half-day for students & teachers,the canteen was closed.So we had to go out for lunch.I went home after werk to send back the car coz I drove to werk that morning.Then off to skool again. Shikin msg me to meet up the next day but I couldn't make it so I just stayed home to catch the NDP on TV.

My parents & granny went to KL yesterday to visit my aunt, leaving me. Boo HOO HOO. Luckily they are away this week coz if last week I can't imagine. At least I got Rudy to keep me company till they come home. By the way we finally went to watch Charlie & the Choco Factory yesterday. I bought a top too. Bump into my uncle on the way home. Upon reaching Bedok Res, we had supper @ McDonald's before he took a cab home.

For now I guess that's all coz the morning just started soo I will update when I have the time.

BooKs StuFFs

This week is quite busy but smooth.Last Friday I went to the library to borrow some books to "accompany" me while Rudy is in camp. Borrowed 4 books which I have completed yesterday. So guess gotta have to borrow more today. This week is also tests' week. 1 was yesterday, the other one wud be tomorrow & the last test wud be on next Monday which is National Day's eve. *tsK

Dad sent me to work this morning as he isn't werking. So I get to getup late abit. Not really that late coz Rudy called me ard 0540hrs coz he's in the jungle & he's bored. Gosh he has been sending me shots of himself recently and my goodness has he put on weight. His face is now chubbier. Hehe guess going reservist makes him fat, in a way, it's good.I honestly find him thin last time but guess he's putting on the weight slowly.

On Monday, after werk, bump into my juniors in secondary school. They've changed alot from last time that I saw them, which was in secondary school lah. One of them is engaged,one is a cabin crew & the other one is in Seria to continue her studies. Had a drink with them @ Pizza Hut before I left for skool.

Yesterday was normal only thing that class ended early. Luckly for me coz if not I have to go home myself, walk alone along the dark streets. I infact got home before 10 last nite.

I can't wait for tomorrow coz Rudy's finishing his reservist. But dunno what time he's booking out from camp. Haiyahhhhh just wait lah. Like he has been telling me.."ENDURE" & "COMPROMISE". Guess I should be counting the hours soon. Already make plans with him on Sunday to catch "Charlie & The Choco Factory".
