The End is Near

2005 is coming to an end soon. Just a few days more to go. This year has been a year where I learn alot. Loads happen this year.. mostly happy ones. Alhamdulillah this year has been a smooth-sailing year for me and my family. Also goes to me & Rudy. He He.

This year started off by me going back to skool again. Yeahhh part-time studies. I guess I just wanted to keep on upgrading myself. So together with Rudy, I was juggling between werk & studies.

Then came along my sister's wedding. Preparations started even in late last year & Insya'allah end of this January marks their 1st year wedding annivesary. One year is almost here but she's not preggie yet. I guess I don't even bother whether she is or not as long as the two of them are happy. That's what more important.

I resigned in Feb. My parents were very supportive despite me being jobless for months. Yup imagine after a year and a 1/2 of werking life, I suddenly felt "poor" without the monthly income in my bank. Dad & Mum kinda supported me financially during this time. See how lucly I am to have my parents. Rudy was also kind enough to treat me to stuffs I couldn't afford. (Giggles).

I finally got a job as an IT Assistant in a government school where I werked for 3 months before I quit coz I got a better offer. During my days there, I met lovely people whom I'm still in touch with now. Frenly principal, wonderful teachers.

Mid this year, there were also loads of engagements & weddings. Engagements of cousins, weddings of Rudy's & mine frens. Sad I had to miss some due to werk commitments. Nevertherless I wish them all the best of luck & happiness all life long!

During this time also that I finally maneged to meet my secondary pals again. What a meaning time spent with them. One getting married. 2 getting engaged. Sweett rite?

Since I left the skool job, I werked for a month + in my previous company(the one that I quit in Feb) before quitting again as it was affecting my health worse than I had expect. I was rushing to A&E almost every week. So I guess the best way out was to call it quits even before I got a job.

Hari Raya was great. Was on a week off during that period. Kind of nice meeting all those long-time-never-see relatives again. The kids have all grown-up. Haiiii I feel soo old.

& alhamdulillah, thanks to the prayers of my parents, grandma's, I now have a job again after staying home for a month. Be starting next week, I hope to stay for long.

All these while, beside my parents' support & do'a(s), Rudy have been there. A place where I sometimes unintentionally vent my anger on. (Lafs). This moment, I even passed 2 exams with the last one scoring quite good.

Guess there's nuthing else that is gonna happen besides invitations to weddings & engagements. & Yeah RUdy's birthday that falls on the 31st of Dec. Hmmm.. now let's see what to get him.

It's MiDNitE

I'm just feeling lazy at this moment. I don't know why propably just the feeling. Or maybe I'm just tired. Eating all those pills from the dentist & not resting these few days. Yeah been running in & out of house yesterday & today for doc's appointments, picking Mum up from werk, going to supermarket, going for classes & stuffs like that.

But lucky me my gums are recovering. I can eat better nowadays. Or at least I don't have to eat porridge again.

An old fren of mine called me few days back & we started chatting about werk. He was like telling me that the new company that was taking over the current place(let's not mention where this place is) has totally crappy werk contract. He was mentioning that you'll be given 3 months probation, which is normal. But if u wanna resign during these 3 mths, you have to give 1 mths' notice.To top it all, upon confirmation, in any cases, u wanna quit u have to give 2mths' notice to the company. I was like "WTH". I mean it's total crappppp.... & yeah he was also telling me about the salary-wise. That at first they wanted to deduct their pay& give them 13 mth but since many didn't want to join coz of pay-cut, they said that they will pay the same but they will only give them 1/2 of their 13mth. Another crap! Poor them who join the new company.

Speaking of which, I was watching The Amazing Race 8 this morning & Hoolaaaa The Linz siblings won the million bucks. Yeah I a great fan of this race. Sanggup tau bangun pagi just to watch the 10am version.It's soo kewl to see different countries & cities. Now I can start to plan my holidays better. The prizes at the end of each leg was soo "WOW". How I wish I can lay my hands on the car that the Bransen won.....................

This is also another season of weddings. I already got like 4 invitations on the 31st Dec & 1st Jan. Guess people are using this oppurtunity to get married/engaged coz these days happen to fall on Sat/Sun. Speaking of which, another cousin of mine is also getiing engaged soon. Also in Jan most likely. To the peepz, CONGRATS! Oh yah I remembered it's also my parents wedding anniversary on the 1st of Jan.

Hmmm.. Christmas & Year-End is coming. I'm thinking of getting away for a short trip. Dad was also mentioning that he needs to clear his leave. Probably we'll drive up to KL. But it's just a suggestion, planning is still in progress. See that's one advantage of not getting married U know. Dad's still paying!

Wisdom tOOth

So after my asthma has more or less settle down, my wisdom tooth started giving me problems. I went to the dentist & he took X-ray of my teeth and from the X-ray found out that my wisdom tooth had grown above the tooth in front. There was nothing that can be done except to remove the tooth which cost S$400. Consulted my Dad (who is now my bank hehehe) & he told me to go ahead with the op. He mentioned that NTUC Dental cost about S$1K+.

So went back to the dentist, Dr Chan, to operate on my jaw yesterday. The whole process took about 45mins. The op was smooth, the only pain I felt was from the first jab. The jab that made my whole left-side of the mouth numb. But the sound effect was terrible. GOsh. I still hear the sounds up till now. He ferst started by expanding my bones. Then he broke my tooth into half as it was easier coz the root of the tooth was stuck inside my gums. Later he took the kind of plier to pull out 1/2 of my tooth that was stuck to the jaw followed by the other 1/2 after that. He then gave my gums 3 stitches to stop the bleeding & the hole.

I know it's gross to be talking about it but I guess I just wanna share my experience with those of you who have not done it before. He he. I'm most willing to recommend this dentist, Dr Chan, to you people coz his service is damn superb. The charges are cheap, the cleaning & polishing is good & the best part he do it with tender,loving care that you feel as less pain as possible.

Ok. Now I'm feeling giddy. Coz I can't eat properly as I'm on soft diet + the medications. I guess it's bedtime for me.

I've Been Sick

I've been seeing the doc over the past few weeks due to my asthma. My health has been pretty bad lately.

I went to CGH A&E twice, once on Friday nite followed by Saturday nite. The doc said that my asthma is totally out of control & I realised that too since I started werking at this new place. I ferst thought it's the new werking environment but then maybe it's due to the hours of werk & the werkload itself. Pretty sad coz I kinda enjoy werking there. But I guess there's nuthing much that I can do about it coz it's affects my health too much.

Guess some people just don't believe it.. Well what to do.... People thinking I'm lying but I wasn't. I was really that sick that I couldn't breath & just collapse. I really hope to get well really soon as this sickness of mine have been affecting my werk, my mood swings & the people around me.

I got to go now. I wanna rest.

Months AwaY

It's been ssoo super long since I last update this bloggie. Not that I want to be away but it's just that time has been limited these days. Yeah. Werk has been tiring. My Sundays are gone & then there's skool followed after werk. Skool's been great. Modules are much more lighter compared to previous terms. Thank goodness...

So now is the season of holidays.. Boo Hoo. I can't get away coz I got no leave to clear & that I'm still under probation. Yup my aunt & family left for KL dis morning. Parents are leaving for Pontianak, Indonesia tomorrow noon. Soo sad the house is gonna quieter without the nagging till Monday when my parents get home. Yeahh...

Oh yesshh.. Another thing : A close,good, ol' gf of mine is getting engaged on the 1st of January. Sarina, if u're reading this, CONGRATS once again. Wish her all the best of luck, love, joy & happiness with her high-skool sweetheart.

I shall call it a nite. Got to wake up early tomorrow to send my parents off.
